The American Association of Philosophy Teachers (AAPT) is a national organization dedicated to the mission of supporting quality teaching in philosophy. It provides a supportive community for philosophy teachers, and encourages discussion of pedagogical struggles and successes. AAPT Studies in Pedagogy publishes thematically focused, peer-reviewed volumes of original work on teaching and learning philosophy. This annual publication extends community discussions to a wider readership.

Each volume contains a range of useful mateial, from practical advice to theoretical disucssions. Contributors include graduate students, new faculty, and tenured professors with years of classroom experience. NOTE: Volume 9 (2024) is now freely accessible.
