ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION

The Philosophers Association of Nigeria (PAN) is the main professional body for philosophers in Nigeria. Since 1971 it has facilitated the exchange of ideas among philosophers in Nigeria through bi-annual conferences, workshops, and publications. It also promotes the teaching of philosophy in Nigerian primary and secondary schools, as well as the teaching of ethics and values to the Nigerian populace.
