Canadian Society for Continental Philosophy / Société canadienne de philosophie continentale

The CSCP is a professional organization dedicated to the pursuit and exchange of philosophical ideas inspired by Continental European traditions. Our intent is to provide a forum for scholarly interests in such fields as hermeneutics, existentialism, phenomenology, deconstruction, critical theory, feminism, and poststructuralism.

We hold an annual meeting in Canada each fall, to which members and non-members are invited to submit papers on any theme relevant to the broad concerns of contemporary Continental thought.

La SCPC est un organisme professionnel voué au développement et à la diffusion d'idées philosophiques s'inscrivant dans la tradition continentale. Notre intention est de fournir un forum aux chercheurs et aux étudiants de cycles supérieurs ?uvrant dans des domaines de la philosophie continentale tels l'herméneutique, l'existentialisme, la phénoménologie, la déconstruction, la théorie critique, le féminisme, le postmodernisme et le poststructuralisme.

La Société tient annuellement un congrès, lors duquel ses membres sont invités à présenter leurs recherches, qui peuvent porter de près ou de loin sur des thèmes propres à la philosophie continentale.
